Ann Curry
Ann Curry was born in the US and works as an accomplished photographer as well as a journalist. Since more than 45 years she has focused her work on reporting human suffering, primarily during war and natural catastrophes. In Medford, she started her broadcasting career with KTVL Channel 10 as an intern. at the age of 22 she was the first reporter to be female at KTVL. In Portland in Oregon, she was appointed anchor and reporter by KGW NBC's affiliate. After four years, she relocating to Los Angeles as a reporter for the KCBS-TV. During her six-year association with the channel she received the award of two Emmy Awards.
